Platform: What you play the game on
Cross media platform: games available on multiple platforms i.e Switch, X-box, PlayStation et
Conglomerate: large media companies that own smaller companies i.e Sony
Developer: People or companies that come up with the concept of the game
Digital distributor: Making the game available to audiences i.e Steam
Engine: A system designed for the creation and development of video games
PEGI: Pan European games information i.e age rating
Designer: the game designer that brings the game to life
RPG: Role playing game
MMORPG: Massively multiplayer online role playing game
FPS: First person shooter
Event release: Hyped up date that the game is released
Triple a game: An Informal classification used for video games with the highest development budget and levels of promotion
Open world: Players free to roam a virtual world
DLC: downloadable content
Sandbox: Style of game with that allows the user to change the world around them

Minecraft is a multi platform, open sandbox game
